2026 Updates: Mugalu Dickens wants to transform youth in Wakiso Sub County as he eyes youth councilor seat

Mr. Dickens Mugalu, the Deputy chairperson youth Buloba Parish in Wakiso Sub county, Wakiso district has set his eyes on the councilor seat for Wakiso Sub County come 2026.

He confirmed to us that in 2026, he is going to stand for Wakiso Sub County Youth Male Councilor.

The 24-year old was born in Kasero, Buloba and attended Buloba Standard Primary School then MK International School Busega before going to St Theresa SSS Buloba Kasero from form 1-6. He is currently pursuing a Diploma in Law at Law Development Centre (LDC).

Mugalu who sits on the Wakiso Sub County Youth Council owns a poultry project in Buloba which adds to his income as well as a rice plantation in Buloba too.

In 2026 on the position of Wakiso Sub County Youth Councilor, he is going to contest on the ticket of the National Unity Platform (NUP) which he subscribes to.

He says he is willing to fight for the freedom of the Youths. He is also going to work hard to see that the budget for his fellow youths is uplifted and work hard with the youth council to see that all the decisions taken are well implemented.

He also wants to enhance sports in his jurisdiction, enhancing government programs for the youths and first mindset change. He has called on all the youth in Buloba and Wakiso to support him.
