2026 Updates: Jim Muhwezi hails the people of Rukungiri for showing huge support to M7, officially unveiled

Rujumbura Constituency in Rukungiri District NRM flag bearer Hon. Jim Muhwezi has thanked the people of Rukungiri for turning up in big numbers and supporting NRM Presidential candidate H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni during his campaign trail earlier in the week.

“Thank you so much Rukungiri, Thank you, guys. You pulled it off. Proud of you,” Hon. Jim Muhwezi said.

Hon. Jim Muhwezi was on the same day unveiled as the official NRM party flag bearer for Rujumbura Constituency MP seat 2026.

Ms Susan Muhwezi Kabonero, the wife of Hon. Jim Muhwezi also joined the team to mobilise for the President and hailed the people of Rukungiri for showing great support to the NRM. He appreciated both NRM and PLU mobilisers for doing excellent work.

After hosting the president, Hon. Jim Muhwezi will now resume his campaign trail in Rujumbura ahead of next year’s General elections. He called on the people to support NRM for continued development, peace and unity.
