Voters in Ibanda Municipality in Ibanda District have rallied behind Hon. Mwine Innocent Bakamuhara ahead of the rescheduled Parliamentary elections.
The Electoral Commission has scheduled the Ibanda Municipality parliamentary election for January 27, setting the stage for a closely watched contest in this Western Uganda constituency.
Independent candidate Hon. Mwiine Innocent Bakamuhara who has been very active on the ground for the last five years has established a significant presence in the Municipality and is seen by many as the right choice to take the Municipality forward as their MP in the 12th Parliament.
He has been instrumental in supporting the community especially with service delivery in sectors of Water, health, education and road infrastructure. Even without mandate, Hon. Mwine has been there for the people in the areas.
He is social, interactive and has been sharing with the community on matters regarding developing their area.
