2026 Updates: Hon. Lillian Aber lauds God and people of Kitgum District for granting her another opportunity to serve people

Kitgum District Woman MP seat elect, Hon. Lillian Aber has thanked the Almighty God and the people of Kitgum for granting her another opportunity to serve her people.

Hon. Lillian Aber won with a landslide victory pulling 42917 votes with her closest rival at 17401 votes. This confirmed her place in the 12th Parliament and serving her second consecutive term as Kitgum District Woman MP on the NRM party ticket.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank the almighty God for granting me another opportunity to serve my people in the 12th parliament. To the people of Kitgum District, Thank you so much for the love and support. Apwoyo Lukaka,” Hon. Lillian Aber said after the victory.

She is also on course to retain her Ministerial post having been one of the most hard working Ministers. She is currently the State Minister for Refugees, Relief and Disaster Preparedness in the office of the Prime Minister.
