Businessman and politician Hajji Muyanja Mbabaali was yesterday officially unveiled as the official NRM party flagbearer for Bukoto South in Lwengo District MP seat 2026.
He was officially unveiled by the NRM party Chairman and Presidential candidate Yoweri Kaguta Museveni at his campaign trail in the district on Friday drawing cheers from the huge crowd that was around.
Hon. Mbabaali said he is back to rescue the people of Bukoto South from the opposition leadership which took over from 2021. He won the NRM flag in July this year. He is credited for his service delivery oriented leadership which he did in Bukoto South from 2016 to 2021 where he created local savings schemes driving most of the family in the Constituency out of poverty.
This resulted in the establishment of the bank at Kinoni. He is also credited for extending water, electricity, Health and education in most areas in Bukoto South. He plans to resume from where he stopped once he is given the mandate in 2026.
