

Meet the Hip Hop princess Stone Age Ug
Tyra Kirabo well known by her stage name as Stone Age UG is a Ugandan young artist dubbed Hip Hop Princess.
She was inspired into music by her Uncle Senior Sula, who is also her Mentor and a Hip Hop Analyst.


In 2020, she released first hit called ‘Kyekimu’ that made her get three nominations in the Hip Hop Awards and these are; Best Female Rapper, Rookie of the year and Impact Track of the year.


This made her the first youngest Female Rapper to be nominated in those Awards in Uganda. The Awards did not happen due to the outbreak of Corona Virus.


In the same year, she was ranked by the East African Fact Files as Best Young Female Hip Hop Star in East Africa.
In the same year, she was also nominated in StarQt Awards in South Africa in category of COVID Breakthrough Artist of the year alongside other big names.


She was also nominated in Buzz Teenz Awards under the category of Best Underground Rapper of the year.
In the same year, she also got nominated in the UG Teenz Awards under the category of Best Female Artist.


In 2021, she got three big nominations in the famous MTN UG Hip Hop Awards ie
-FEMALE ARTIST OF THE YEAR
-ROOKIE OF THE YEAR
-INSPIRATIONAL SONG OF THE YEAR
She went Ahead and won the Rookie Of The Year Award.
In the same year, she got Nominated and consequently won the Award of BEST YOUNG FEMALE ARTIST in the famous AKASENGEJJA MUSIC AWARDS sponsored by Bukedde TV.


Her latest is Tripple Nominations in the SOCIAL STAR AWARDS in USA.

Because of her talent, she has managed to do collaborations with Uganda’s biggest names in Hip Hop like GNL Zamba, Navio and Lady Slyke.
