

Lake Victoria Serena Golf Resort And Spa Introduces “Koroga” Sundays
It is spicy, scrumptious, and savory. An infusion of Indian spices, based on a tomato and onion gravy, “Koroga” is the latest menu addition at the Lake Victoria Serena Golf Resort & Spa. So, if your idea of a good Sunday is good food, great live music, and an unbeatable waterfront ambiance, then you are going to fall in love with the latest addition to the Resort’s weekend plans.
According to Chef Sam Drasiku, the idea of the “Koroga” was borrowed from the central part of Kenya, where this serving is very popular.
“This menu will be available every first Sunday of the month and will include chicken, lamb, beef, Fish and vegetarian options. The gravy is infused with Indian spices such as seeds, garam Masala, Turmeric, as well as cumin seeds and ginger.
And true to this, the curries are spicy, flavourful, and very good potions that are served with a side of rice and the local chapati or naan.
Mr Gerald Atugonza, the Food and Beverage Manager at the Resort explains that this monthly programme will kick off at midday to 4 pm, with guests enjoying their meals with the soothing sound of the live band, all the while enjoying the serene ambience of the marina.
