Big deal as Sylvia Namutebi scoops Zuli Luxury Hair brand ambassador role

Looks like 2021 is going to be a mega year for the newly crowned Mrs Uganda, Sylvia Wilson Namutebi Alibhai.

Days after the crown, she has been signed as the new brand ambassador of Zuli Luxury Hair in Uganda.

“Exciting news coming in is i have been signed to be the new brand ambassador to Zuli Luxury Hair Uganda. So excited to work with your professional team,” Sylvia posted on her Instagram.

Sylvia Namutebi Alibhai is newly crowned Mrs. Uganda 2021 and will therefore represent Uganda at the 43rd edition of the Mrs. World Competition scheduled to take place in Sri Lanka in August/ September this year.

Who is Sylvia Namutebi?

She is marketing and business strategist by profession and runs her own private consultancy. She has a background in human resource management and international Business.
Wilson is also a Director of Special Events at Talent Africa Group.

She was Miss Uganda 2011 and recently was the Miss Uganda Project coordinator for the years 2018 and 2019.

The beauty queen has dedicated so many years of her life working with different charity causes around the country and also working with the Miss Uganda Foundation where they pioneered the project to eradicate Jiggers from the Busoga region of Uganda in 2012.

She has also worked with children living with disabilities, Families affected by the HIV pandemic and of recent she started the SMile With Sly Project aimed at helping single mothers and young people affected by the Coronavirus pandemic, in addition to raise awareness geared towards safe motherhood in marginalized communities of Uganda, this project is in partnership with the #TalentafricaFoundation where she Ismah a director.

“I Enjoy working with children and the youth, helping them reach their full potential in various aspects of education, entrepreneurship or self esteem and confidence building.
I like to use my position in adding my voice to the under represented so as to create real solutions to problems we face as a community.

I chose pageantry because it gives me a platform to impact the change i need to see in my society.
I look forward to serving as your Mrs. Uganda 🇺🇬 2021,” Sylvia said.

She is married to Events guru Aly Alibhai.
