CLARIFICATION: EVENT POSTPONEMENT

There has been ongoing speculation regarding the Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards. While it is true that the event has been postponed, this decision was made to ensure the highest level of quality and experience for all attendees.

Originally scheduled for 12th December 2025, the ASFAs will now take place on 19th December 2025 in a new and elevated format dubbed the ASFAS HONORARY GALA.
The change allows the venue partner, Kampala Serena Hotel, the additional time needed to finalize renovations and prepare the space to meet the premium standards expected of this exclusive event.

The Gala will take place at the Serena Hotel, but in a smaller, more intimate space, creating an environment that is intentionally exclusive.

As a result: Only 200 public tickets will be available. All other attendance will be invite-only, extended to leaders, CEOs, cultural influencers, ambassadors from embassies, and key stakeholders in the fashion and
creative economy.

This approach ensures that the conversation around the future of African fashion, arts, and creative industries takes place among those who are shaping, influencing, and investing in the sector.

A Limited, High-Value Experience

In a move to preserve the exclusivity and intimacy of the evening, only 200 tickets will be sold to the public:

General Admission: UGX 250,000

Table: UGX 5,000,000

All other attendance will be strictly by invitation, extended to industry leaders, creatives, entrepreneurs, top designers, celebrities, media, and influential voices driving Africa‟s cultural narrative.

Theme: A Tribute to African Visionaries

The 2025 ASFA Honorary Gala is curated under the theme:
“A Tribute to African Visionaries Shaping the Future of African Fashion, Arts & Culture.”

This edition will feature:

Showcases from top local and international designers.

A grand red-carpet experience, synonymous with the ASFAs‟ global-standard glamour.

Electrifying performances by leading local and international acts.

A curated, high-level networking experience for creatives, investors, innovators, and
stakeholders.
Speaking on behalf of NRG, Barbra Linda, the Brand Lead mentioned that NRG is the
number one name in music in Uganda and as such, people should expect the same energy at the ASFAs Honorary Gala.

“As partners of the ASFA Honorary Gala, we are honored to join a select group of visionaries who are shaping the future of African fashion, arts, and culture. This is not merely an event—it is a movement aimed at elevating the creative economy and ensuring that the immense talent across the continent is recognized, valued, and given the resources to thrive. Through our platforms and energy, we aim to create tangible value: from amplifying emerging voices to connecting creatives with opportunities that allow them to scale, innovate, and contribute meaningfully to
Africa’s cultural and economic growth. The exclusivity of this gala reflects the level of
commitment, influence, and intentionality required to move the industry forward, and we are proud to be part of this conversation, this community, and this transformative journey. Together, with fellow visionaries, we are not just celebrating excellence—we are actively shaping a sustainable, empowered future for the African creative economy. As the official entertainment sponsor, NRG Radio is proud to announce that we will stage an iconic show during the Gala. Next week we will be announcing the lineup of local and international acts who will elevate the event and create a truly unforgettable experience for guests.”

ASFAs Founder Brian Ahumuza (Abryanz) highlighted that the Honorary Gala is part of a larger mission to accelerate growth for the “Creatives In fashion” industries across Africa.

“The ASFAs have always been a movement. This year, we elevate that movement by recognizing the people who have built foundations for African fashion to stand on. We are not just awarding excellence; we are honoring legacy, influence, and vision.”

Joram Muzira, CEO of JMM, shares his vision behind this partnership:
“Modeling and fashion are powerful engines for economic and social impact. Through JMM, we ensure that talented African models gain access to global platforms that not only elevate their careers but also contribute to the broader creative economy. Opportunities like the ASFAs
Honorary Gala are crucial—they showcase our models on premium stages, connect them with international agencies, and provide pathways to represent Africa globally. When models thrive, the entire fashion ecosystem benefits—from designers and stylists to photographers, makeup artists, and creative entrepreneurs. This Gala is more than a celebration; it is a launchpad for careers and a catalyst for growth in the African fashion economy.”

The execution of this year’s Honorary Gala is led by Adris Digital Africa, a premium events management and creative agency renowned for excellence in branding, production, marketing, and communications.

Solomon Muleyi, Creative Director at Adris Digital Africa, emphasized the significance of this year’s exclusive direction.

volume—visionaries over categories. This gala is about honoring the people who are shaping
our future and starting meaningful conversations about empowering Africa’s creative economy, Which is what we are all about at Adris Digital Africa”.
