Ugandan supermodel, influencer and socialite Mutoni Ketra has issued a strong warning to the general public against fraudsters and scammers using her name to extort money from unsuspecting individuals.
Taking to her official social media platforms, the celebrated model revealed that some unscrupulous individuals have created fake accounts impersonating her and are using her identity to solicit money from fans.
“Please be careful and do not fall victim to these scammers. I am not on Facebook or Twitter (X). My only official accounts are listed in the poster. Please help spread awareness by sharing this post. Stay safe,” Mutoni Ketra posted on Instagram.
The model clarified that she is not on Facebook or X (formerly Twitter), and urged the public to only interact with her official accounts as listed on her verified poster.
She further called upon her followers and well-wishers to help spread the message widely to prevent more people from falling victim to the conmen.
Mutoni Ketra is one of Uganda’s most successful international models and has built a strong brand, which scammers are now trying to exploit for their selfish gains.
