Masaka City Woman MP and State Minister for Local Government, Hon. Justine Nameere Nsubuga, has hailed the Mbarara Hawkers SACCO for promoting a savings culture.
She urged members to stick to the core principles of their SACCO and avoid the temptation of over-expansion while speaking as chief guest at their 10th anniversary celebrations over the weekend in Mbarara.
The Minister also applauded Mbarara City Woman MP Hon. Kibaaju Charity Kamuhanda for the support she extends to her constituents.
In Mbarara, Hon. Nameere also attended singer T-Paul’s concert at Kakyeka Stadium in the company of Hon. Kibaaju and congratulated him upon a successful show.
She was later hosted at the luxurious Emburara Farm Lodge along the Mbarara-Ibanda Road by Hon. Kibaaju, where she commended Hon. Frank Tumwebaze and his wife Florence Kabibi for the great work at the lodge.
“My dear friend Hon Kibaaju Charity Kamuhanda, Woman MP Mbarara City hosted me at the beautiful Emburara Farm Lodge while I was in Mbarara City to support the T-Paul Concert and also to be a Guest of Honor at the 10 years celebration of the Mbarara Hawkers SACCO. I encouraged the hawkers to focus on the core principles of their SACCO and avoid the temptation of over expansion. Big congratulations to T-Paul upon that very successful concert. Thank you Hon Minister Frank Tumwebaze and your dear Wife Counsel Florence Kabibi for the amazing Emburara Farm Lodge,” she posted on X.
