Fun, fun & more fun as Nyege Nyege Festival brings the house down at Jinja Golf Course
Jinja: Thousands of music lovers from across the globe gathered at Jinja Golf Course for the annual Nyege Nyege Music Festival. This year’s festival was dubbed Afro-Galatic Carnival and kicked off on Thursday last week to late, late Sunday.
Once again the organizers, Talent Africa Group, showcased their undisputed power regarding social events organization.
Thousands of revellers were treated to an unforgettable celebration of music, culture, and unity.
From Thursday afternoon to late Sunday evening, the festival attracted crowds from across Uganda and beyond, cementing its position as East Africa’s number one entertainment event.
With over 10 stages, the spin masters and performers treated partiers to a mixture of genres ranging from reggae, R&B, and hip-hop to Afro-pop, Afro-fusion, and classic oldies showcasing impressive diversity of musical talent.
During the weekend, attendees were treated to non-stop entertainment, with performances running day and night unleashing something for every music lover.
Some of Uganda’s top artists at the festival included; Kenneth Mugabi, Pia Pounds, Elijah Kitaka, and Ssuuna Ben and they truly delivered memorable sets of entertainment that had the audience singing and dancing in unison.
Busoga Tourism Board chairperson Rt Hon. Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga graced the event and promised to keep supporting it.
The festival showcased the best of tourism from the Busoga region with Busoga Tourism and Heritage Minister Hon. Hellen Namutamba camping at the golf course to oversee the event.
The festival was more than just a chance to enjoy music—it was a testimony of celebration of community, diversity, and the joy of shared experiences. The music was amazing, the atmosphere was electric, it was a fun filled festival.
The event displayed Talent Africa Group (TAG) Event’s undisputed organization of social events.
The partiers left the festival yearning for more and are already looking forward to the 2025 Edition.
