Deputy Speaker tells Christians to focus on Socio-Economic development

The Deputy Speaker of Parliament Rt Hon. Thomas Tayebwa has urged Christians to desist from tribal and religious divisions and focus on socio-economic development. 
He said this while celebrating Easter Sunday with the people of Ruhinda North at St. John’s Kibaare Church of Uganda and Nyakatsiro Catholic Church. He was joined by King Ceasor Mulenga, the Vietnamese consulate to Uganda and city business man.
“My family and I , with my  brother King Ceasor Mulenga have celebrated Easter Sunday with the people of Ruhinda North at  St.John’s Kibaare COU and Nyakatsiro Catholic Church. I urged Christians to desist from tribal and religious divisions and focus on socio- economic development,” Hon. Thomas Tayebwa shared on Twitter.
In related development, the Rt Hon. Deputy met with the leaders of the Islamic Community in Ruhinda North at his country home in Mitooma District. The two parties discussed a wide range of issues especially on religion and development.
“I met the leaders of the Islamic Community in Ruhinda North at my Country home in Mitooma District. We discussed a wide range of issues of mutual interest especially on Religion and Development,” Rt Hon. Thomas Tayebwa shared.
