Teams from the Ministry of Health have been traversing Western region to distribute mosquito nets in 28 districts.
The campaign dubbed ‘Under The Net’ is in Wave 2 which started on 9th and will end today 21st August 2020.
The campaign will cover the entire country and is aimed at making sure every Ugandan sleeps under the mosquito net in a bid to end malaria scourge in the country.
Hon. Robinah Nabbanja, Woman MP Kakumiro District and Minister of State for Health in charge of General Duties joined the distribution team last weekend and handed over a mosquito Net to a breast feeding mother at Kakumiro HCIV.
Under the #SleepUnderTheNetUg and
#ChaseMalariaToZero, the exercise has been successful in the 28 districts.
