Following the decision by the court and the guidance by HE the President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, Hon. Prof Ephraim Kamuntu, The Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs and also Member of Parliament for Sheema South Constituency, Sheema district has handed over cash Ugx. 20,000,000/= to the Sheema District Task Force COVID 19.
He has equally guided the district team on the use of the 20,000,000/= where emphasis has been put on supporting the Medical personnel and front line staff during the COVID-19 Fight in the District through procurement of common user items in the medical field like Disposable and Re-usable Medical Aprons.
In addition, the MP and Minister together with Abamwe Group have physically donated assorted medical items valued at Ugx. 20,000,000/=. The items have been handed over to the District Task Force and the list of the items;
1. Infrared thermometers 4pcs.
2. Face masks 1600pcs.
3. Clinical glove’s 6500pcs.
4. Sanitisers 225ltrs.
5. Liquid soap 360ltrs
In the same Spirit, Area Mp topped up more 600,000shs cash on his previous contribution of 600,000shs to the district task force to make it 1.2m/= For fuel to support the COVID 19 District team to run daily errands.
