Heineken Uganda last weekend hosted the first ever Alumni festival at the UMA show grounds in Lugogo. The event attracted over 20 participating schools including Budo, SMACK, Mengo, Kibuli, Nabisunsa, St. Lawrence Schools, Kabojja, Green Hill Academy among others.

Kabojja walked away with the grand prize after winning total points in the day’s events that included dodge ball, Dool, Sack race, spoon egg race, 100 metres hurdles, musical chairs.

This is the first edition of the Alumni Festival events which are planned for every quarter with the next one being lined for May 2016.

Celebrities and media personalities including Gaetano Kaggwa, Salvador, Hellen Lukoma, Ruyonga, Cedric Babu, DJ Carol participated on behalf of their schools.

The evening ended with a night long dance party with DJ Carol, MC Kasbaby spinning the discs for the happy revelers who were entitled to a free can of Heineken at the entrance.

It was a thrilling day as old school friends joined together to make it a fun day.
