UK based Ugandan Makeup star artist Olga Nampima of Makeup by Olga is back with her second year of workshop on makeup similar to that of last year although this one has uniqueness, we can confirm.
She has this year called it ‘Hands On Makeup Workshop’ because it will be more of practical with lots of activities to take place. She is truly back with a bang!!!
During an exclusive phone conversation with www.showbizuganda.com , Olga said her workshop slated to take place at The Square on 3rd Street industrial area will include many things such as Talent search that is aimed at grooming future makeup artists in the country.
“The Makeup industry in Uganda is booming and artists need to get the opportunity from people like me to guide them on how to be creative and follow the right procedures to be able to have successful careers,” Olga said.
She added, “We will have something to do with Television and film makeup. The industry is booming but there is lack of creativity. The makeup industry in Uganda has changed; it has many avenues to look after like makeup for photoshoot, magazines and commercial campaign like billboards”.
Hands on Makeup Workshop dubbed ‘Transformation workshop’ also is slated to take place from 11th to 14th December 2017 at the Square at Shop number 4. Olga is also set to fly in celebrity Makeup star photographer to be able to teach people how Photography and Makeup can flourish together. Watch the space for more updates!!
