    Coco Finger & manager Emma Carlos renew working relationship after 12-year hiatus

    Coco Finger, a renowned dancehall artist, and his former manager, Emma Carlos, have renewed their working relationship after a 12-year hiatus.

    The pair were first spotted together at the Memories of GudLfye concert in September catching a good vibe.

    That was followed by Coco hitting the studio and featuring on a single dubbed “Mukikesa” with Emma’s new signee, Mariam Kugonza.

    While at the recent UNCC Arts and Culture Festival Emma officially made the revelation saying he is back to working with Coco.

    The two plan to release new projects around the end of November, with Emma stating that the vibes are right and they are bringing it back.

    “Yes, we are back together and Coco has been cooking ready to release around the end of November, just know the vibes are right and we are bringing it back”, he said.

    During their previous working relationship, Coco had four major hits “Emikono Wagulu”, “My Miss”, “Party Animal”, and “Don’t Break My Heart” that rocked the nation and the East African region at large and organized a successful concert in 2012.

    Kampala: Singer Coco Finger was the shining star of the night as he turned Gulu town wild withhis performance at the Tusker Lite Neon Rave which took place at Acholi Inn last night.

    Coco Finger may have been silent for quite some time but in Gulu he showed that his absence from the scene has not dimmed his prowess as a performer as he took the hordes of revellers on a musical rollercoaster that ended with everyone up on their feet as they danced to his best songs.

    Performing alltime favourites like Emikono Wagulu, My Miss, Party Animal, Ekimuli Kya Rosa and “Do NotBreak”, Coco Finger was clearly in his element, shining bright on a night where party-goers turned up dressed in neonthemed outfits in tune with Tusker Lite’s ‘Lite the Way’ catchphrase. A tattoo parlour and a 3D cinema served to heighten the cheery crowd’s excitement.

    “We have had an amazing run so far with the Tusker Lite Neon Rave, and we’ve truly had Gulu lit. I am sure the party turn up kings and queens can’t wait to do the same for our next destination, Kabale,” said Tusker Lite’sKelvin Gumisiriza.

    Also performing was dancehall star Beenie Gunter who delivered energetically with his club bangers Pon Mi”,Killa Man”, “Olina Work”,Sekkle Down and  Giddem. There were incredible performances from Wendy and Roger Kent, the neon dancers “Party Pipo”, epic mixes from DJ Crim and DJ Bash, 3D cinema, silent disco and fun games like Fifa that kept revellers occupied.

    Dancehall star and Luo Ambassador, Coco Finger, is set to release two new singles this week, we can confirm.

    The two singles are off the singer’s new 15 Track Album, which will officially be released in the next few months. Coco Finger also revealed that he is set to unveil his new management team.

    Sources Coco Finger fired his manager over the weekend with Roland Don talking over as the new manager. Roland will start off his work with the singer officially on Friday this week.

    The appointment of Roland will boost Coco’s image because he has been around and he knows how to promote the music and work with the media.

    Dance hall star Coco Finger aka Moses Okori, the Luo Ambassador with his origin from Lira district has officially released a special song on behalf of non-Baganda who live and work in Buganda region. The song titled ‘Landlord Wange’ is specifically dedicated to His Majesty Ronald Muwenda Mutebi, the Kabaka of Buganda. The singer becomes the first non Muganda to make a song for Kabaka of Buganda. The song celebrates the Buganda king for being a nice land lord and very hospitable.

    The king allows accommodates everyone in Buganda despite their tribes and nationalities. The song talks about the love of the king, development, good leadership, love, peace and unity. The song also talks about the good relationship between Buganda kingdom and other tribes in Uganda that lives and work in Buganda region and also recognises all other kings and kingdoms in other regions across Uganda.

    Coco finger is managed by Richard Sebadduka  aka Richard Flava under Spotlyte management which is under Spotlyte Music Africa music label which manages and promotes musicians and other forms of arts in Uganda and other parts of Africa.  The song was written by Coco finger aka Moses Okori and Richard Sebadduka his manager.
