Profiling Brian Okoroi, the man who wants Tororo North Constituency seat come 2026

Mr. Brian Okoroi is set to contest for the Tororo North Constituency in Tororo District come 2026.

As his slogan goes ‘Ready for Steady Representation’, Brian is already on the ground mobilizing for support ahead of the battle.

The 24 year-old is currently a final year Clinical Medical Student at Jerusalem Institute of Health Sciences.

He started school at Opany Junior School Merikit Tororo where he served as Head Prefect from 2012/2013.

He then went to Manjasi High School Tororo for O’level and served as Education and Information Minister from 2016/2017.

He did his A’level from Jinja SS pursing PCB and garnered 14 points.

After which he joined Jerusalem Institute where he has served in the following positions;
-2022/23- Member of Parliament for DCM constituency and later became the Guild Speaker .
-Speaker for Tororo Students Association living in Lango, Acholic, Karamoja and West Nile.

-2023/24 Currently serving as the 14th Guild President of the institution
-Also serving chairperson of Tororo Students Association Northern Uganda, including Lango, West Nile, Karamoja and Acholi.
-Chairperson Guild Presidents’ union, Lango subregion
-Pioneer Chairperson Red Cross Society, Jerusalem
-Member of the Rotary club of Lira.

Okoroi said he is indeed ready to serve his people and take leadership back home.

“Tororo County North has been victimized for poor parliamentary representation. I choose to go on independent ticket because primarily I want the voice of my people to be heard loud. Additionally I sound a trumpet in the ears of the youth that it’s time for our involvement. No one can discuss anything for us without us. I’m very confident that come 2026, victory will reign. For God and My Country,” Brian said.
