Kira Municipality Member of Parliament hopeful Jimmy Lukwago aka Kira Young has hosted different party leaders at his home in Najjera as he continues to mobilise support for National Unity Platform (NUP).
It was a group of different party leaders including councillors from Kira Division who thronged his home purposely to express their willingness to join The National Unity Platform (NUP) ahead of 2026 general elections.
Some of the leaders were from Democratic Party (DP), Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) and they pledged their total support to the National Unity Platform (NUP) in the forthcoming General Elections.
Hon. Jimmy Lukwago also pledged his support to them in the process of Party Cards acquisition.
According to Municipality Party Road map, Kira Division has been the first and other divisions will follow. He also pledged his efforts in curbing out Party flagship in-house fights and unfairness.
