The Eddy Kenzo Festival will come into records to join the biggest local events of the year 2022. From Azawi, Winnie Nwagi, B2C, Julianna Kanyomozi and now Eddy Kenzo festival.
The Festival took place at the Kololo Independence Grounds over the weekend and it is said to have attracted a number of over 30,000 people. By 2pm, there was a long line of people waiting to be checked by security and enter the festival. The set up gave it a festival feel when Fenon events decorated the venue, something that added oomph in the festival.
Performances started as early as 3pm with up and coming artistes entertaining the crowd and on stage, we saw other artistes like Fresh Kid, Felista, Performances went on until wee hours of Sunday morning after they were granted permission to exceed midnight by the Prime Minister Hon Robinnah Nabbanja.

Fenon Events was in charge of the whole events production and for the first time in many years, there were two stages at the Eddy Kenzo Festival. One was the main stage and the other was for the VIPs. Fenon events made sure there were very many screens in the venue to enable everyone to catch a clear glimpse of the action on stage.
Before Eddy Kenzo, top artistes who took to the stage included B2C, Fefe Busi, Fik Fameica, Spice Diana, Gravity Omutujju, Nina Roz, Pia Pounds and Geosteady among others.

Kenzo then came in at around 10pm to kick off his performance with a live band session. He did all his songs from Yanimba , Dagala, Nice and Lovely all the way to the end when he did his magic song titled Sitya Loss.
Unlike other shows, Kenzo will not have follow up shows because he did upcountry shows that he refered to as the Road to Eddy Kenzo Festival tour. Kenzo was in places like Kasese, Kyotera, Mbarara, Masaka, Gulu, Arua and Mbale among others.
