

Busoga Tourism Minister Hellen calls for Free WiFi Zones in Busoga Tourists sites
The Minister of Busoga Tourism & Heritage, Hon. Hellen Namutamba has today officiated at the Business Process Outstanding consultative meeting organized by the Ministry of ICT and National Guidance at Civil Service College.
During her address, Hon. Hellen called for the creation of free WiFi zones in Busoga (at Busoga City Square, and at Tourism Sites such as Kagulu Rock, Itanda Falls, Busowooko Falls, Source of the Nile, Bishop Hannington Site in Kyando Mayuge district, etc.) and the development of a website where graduates can upload their CVs.
“This platform will enable employers to easily find suitable applicants for job opportunities,” she added.
She also enlightened the audience on why Uganda is called the Pearl of Africa, a title affirmed by Churchill at Rippon Falls in 1908.
Hon Hellen concluded by inviting everyone to the Kagulu Rock Climbing Challenge due on August 17th, 2024.
“I call upon every to mark your calendars and join us for this exciting event of Kagulu Rock Climbing Challenge in Buyende District,” She said.
