The Speaker of Parliament Rt Hon. Anita Annet Among has committed to meet burial expenses for the late former Kazo MP Hon. Gordon Bafaki.
Hon Bafaki was killed in a fatal accident after Land Cruiser car hit the rear end of the Trailer on Northern Bypass Kiwatule as he headed to his Namugongo home from upcountry in the wee hours of Wednesday morning.
The Speaker yesterday visited City Mortuary to view the body of the late after which she pledged to meet all the burial expenses to give him a decent burial.
“We have just returned from the City Mortuary, where the body of our brother the late Hon Gordon Bafaki is. We have made arrangements to hand over the body to A-plus funeral services and I commit to take care of all the funeral expenses to give him a decent send-off,” Rt Hon Anita Annet Among said.
