Sheema District has registered its first COVID-19 death after a 60 year widow dies of the disease.
Mrs Getrida Kabazeyo, 60, wife to late Reverend Kabazeyo of Kyagaju, Kabwohe in Sheema District died on Wednesday.
Getrida, a mother of 4 had come to Kampala to attend her son’s wedding and she is suspected to have contracted the disease from there. She was laid to rest at her ancestral home today under the Ministry of Health Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) by COVID-19 trained burial team.
Close relatives told this website that Mrs Getrida Kabazeyo who was a teacher had blood pressure. May her soul RIP!!!
