Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) Commissioner Domestic Taxes/ Chairman WCO Council Mr. Dicksons Kateshumbwa has quit his juicy job at the tax body.
Dicksons quit his job this Friday evening after tendering in his resignation letter through a mail to all URA staff and his boss John Musinguzi Rujoki.
“Today after 14 years of service in the Authority, i have decided to end my tour of duty ahead of contractual period with immediate effect. I have been privileged to serve in Customs, Tax Investigations and Domestic Taxes in addition to holding WCO chairmanship, Chairman Board of Trustees URA Staff Retirement Benefits scheme, among other…..,” his resignation letter read in part…
Kateshumbwa’s resignation comes few months after his then boss Doris Akol was fired from her position as Commissioner General.
She was replaced by John Musinguzi Rujoki at the helm.
