Crown Beverages Limited has today handed over a cheque of USD 200,000 (UGX 753 million) and brand new 4-Wheel Toyota double-cabin pick-up to the Head of the National Task force on COVID-19, Hon. Mary Karooro Okurut.
Along with Pepsico, Crown Beverages Limited also handed over 500,000 meals for vulnerable individuals as well as over 5,000 meals to vulnerable lactating mothers.
The brings Crown Beverages total contribution to UGX 1 billion.
This is so far the largest single donation in the country towards fight against the deadly COVID-19 disease which is caused by Coronavirus.
