The outgoing Minister of Works and Transport Hon. Monica Azuba Ntege was given a standing ovation while handing over to Gen. Katumba Wamala as Minister of Works and Transport.
During her leadership, the sector achieved key milestones including the relaunch of Uganda Airlines.
Hon. Azuba is now a Senior Presidential Advisor. While giving his in-coming speech, Gen. Wamala thanked Hon. Monica Azuba Ntege greatly for having deligently led the sector and delivering on her mandate.
“I want to pledge my total commitment, I am ready to work with the team to ensure that we deliver and take the sector to a higher level”
