NRM announces its primaries Roadmap for the election of the flag bearer for Nebbi LCV chairperson & LCIII council positions

NRM Electoral Commission has announced its roadmap for the bye elections in Nebbi district.
This was announced today the 28th May 2019 at NRM electoral Commission offices by their Chairman EC Mr Tanga Odoi.  Mr. Odoi said that NRM is actually getting stronger and more stable than before as they prepare for elections.
Expression of interest is  ongoing until Wednesday 29th May 2019 and on Thursday 30th and Friday 31st ,there shall be nominations for those legible candidates.
1st June to 8th June, the NRM EC team will update their voters register and during this time, there shall be joint campaigns and Monday 10th polling day for NRM primaries .
Candidates are required to be Ugandans, 18 years and above, Must be a member of NRM with UCE and UACE certified , must not be employed by government or national security forces and not cultural leader .
For lower government positions at local council level, there shall be expression of interest at the NRM offices in Nebbi at a zero fee cost . Joint campaigns will be conducted under the guidance of district election officer and NRM structure.
