NWSC upgrades Lyantonde Water works production capacity

National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) continues to do excellent water as far providing safe and clean water to Ugandans is concerned.
With increased demand for water in Lyantonde and surrounding areas, NWSC is currently  upgrading Lyantonde water works production capacity from the current 1.8millions per day to 2.5million litres per day.
This will boost water supply reliability to Lyantonde, Kiruhura, Rushere, Katovu and part of Rakai district.
NWSC is also caring about the water supply situation in the Karamoja region.
They are extending piped water from Morulinga hill-Kangole to  Lokiteded Napak district headquarters.
This is part of the ongoing NWSC SCAP100 programme aimed at extending water to over 12,000 villages  across the country.
