Bonastore Uganda Holds First Ever Franchise Appreciation Day, Rewards Partners

Uganda’s leading building solutions provider, Bonastore Uganda on Friday held its first ever Bonastore Franchise Appreciation Day.

The event that was held at Golf Course Hotel was organised to give a platform to Bonastore suppliers, partners and establishments to increase their knowledge of the business model, and strengthen relationships to support more local franchisees.

Bonastore Uganda was established in November 2016 as a building solutions provider offering services like architectural support, finance and credit advice, contractor and material sourcing among others.

The franchise allows entrepreneurs and hardware retailers to set up and run their own businesses as part of the franchise or to have their containers transformed into branded Bonastore outlets.

Having been in operations for one year, Bonastore Uganda now boasts of 52 franchisees countrywide that supply a combined product range of over 4,000 Stock Keeping Units (SKUs).

Speaking at the event, Nicola George, country CEO Hima Cement, which is the franchise’s cement partner, commended Bonastore suppliers for their dedication and for choosing to partner with the franchise. “Bonastore Uganda in its first operational year made a positive impact on business growth for all its partners. We anticipate an even better year where the partners will take control of their financial success, and we look forward to seeing the franchise expand its reach within the country,” he added.

As part of the celebrations, an award ceremony was held to recognise three franchisees for their exceptional performance during the year 2018. Modern-Ultra Hardware, situated on Namugongo Road received the Compliance Award; Kasujja Hardware located in Buwama, South Western Uganda received the Finance Excellence Award and PANF Hardware Depot located in Nyendo, Masaka received the Sales Growth Award.
