The Minister of ICT and National Guidance Hon. Frank Tumwebaze who also doubles as Kibale MP in Kamwenge district, has said real time monitoring and inspection of government projects as opposed to project end evaluation is a critical prerequisite for achieving value for money. The Minster said this while supervising construction of New Eden Primary School in Biguli Sub County in Kamwenge district.

“Utilising my annual leave to reach out in the constituency and monitor progress of government projects. Here we made an abrupt visit to the

Construction site at New Eden Primary School in Biguli Sub county, Kamwenge district. The construction is financed by the ministry of Education through Kamwenge district local government and it will cost UG SHS

751m. Real time Monitoring and inspection of government projects as opposed to project end evaluation/ auditing, is a critical prerequisite for achieving value for money. I encourage all leaders to always take off time to visit such projects in their respective areas,” Frank Tumwebaze.
