The annual Green Festival chocolate edition was a one to remember as thousands of kids and parents flocked Kololo Airstrip on 3rd September to have a fun filled day.
Families came out in large numbers to have that special day with their kids at the Green Festival.
Many seen adorned in green, streamed in with excitement and anxiety on what was awaiting them. There were many fun fare activities for the children and lots to see and experience.
Uganda Wildlife Education Center brought different wild animals for the kids and parents alike to view and learn about about them. The I animals included a lioness, Tsavo Cat, Python, Ostrich, Uganda Crane among many others.
There was loads of talent show on stage by the children themselves ranging from modeling, singing, dancing, and skating among many others.
Parents were seen happy and cheering on the children on stage.
After spending term time planting trees in their schools and keeping it Green, children from various schools took to Kololo Airstrip in company of their parents to mark the Annual Green Festival. The festival which is an annual celebration of Ugandan children’s efforts in conserving their environment.
