City tycoon Haruna Ssentongo was caught up in water theft scandal by National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC).
The tycoon’s illegal water connection was unearthed at his Haruna Shopping center Ntinda. Haruna is a brother city tycoon Hamis Kiggundu aka Ham of Ham Towers.
“Customers who steal water deny many deserving customers a right to safe clean water. Say No To Water Theft,” NWSC.
The tycoon will face a heavy penalty from the water body.
Meanwhile NWSC Quality Assurance teams yesterday monitored water quality in Makerere, Bwaise, Kinawataka, Kiseka, Mutungo, Luzira and Bugolobi. Water quality is at the heart of NWSC operations and it is aimed at ensuring Water Quality.
