Former banker, Mwine Innocent Bakamuhara has vowed to take Ibanda Municipality parliamentary seat 2016 -2021. Mwine is contesting in the new constituency along other candidates but he is seen as the favourite to take the seat. Mwine who is married to Lt. Beatrice Mwine of Air Force with two children studied Educ.B.A Econ Muk and Msc. Banking and Investment. He worked with Centenary Bank and with security under IGP in financial crime fight.
The 36-year-old is the son to Late Bakamuhara Richard and Assumpta Bakamuhara of Rwensinga Nyabuhiikye Ibanda. He went to Bubaare Primary school, Kitabi seminary, Ibanda SS and St. Josephs Voc. School Mbarara.
He is born again Catholic charismatic and a Financial Management and Credit consultant.
Mwine has called on the people of Ibanda Municipality to vote for him on the NRM ticket. “I have the capacity and experience to turn Ibanda Municipality into a modern constituency once I am given the authority,” he said.
