Government Assurance Committee Parliament of Uganda has met Ministry of Local Government in the republic of Rwanda.
Kiryandongo District Woman MP Hon Katusiime Jovia Mbabazi who is a member said the meeting focused on valuable lessons that could form efforts to strengthen governance, improve public service delivery. This is to ensure that government commitments translates into tangible results for communities in Uganda particularly Kiryandongo District.
The Government Assurance Committee aso met with the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning in the republic of Rwanda. The discussion was centered on budgeting planning and execution tracking, accountability frameworks and the use of data in monitoring government programs.
