Popular journalist Mr. Charles Odongtho is set to join the race for the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) MP seat representing Uganda (2026-2027), we can confirm.
Previously, Mr. Charles worked at the Office of the Prime Minister as a senior Communications Officer as well as other major media houses across the country. He brings in his vast experience on the politics regarding the East African region.
He is also a renowned close ally of the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) headed by the Chief of Defense Forces Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba.
Several people who hail from the West Nile have welcomed his quest for the seat with some saying the region deserves a share of the EALA cake. Odongtho is already on the ground mobilizing for support with his team.
