Nakawa East MP hopeful Hon. Winifred Nakandi is seriously on the ground mobilizing for support ahead of the 2026 general elections to represent the people of Nakawa East in the 12th Parliament.
She spent the evening with traders and dwellers of Port Bell landing site in Luzira Parish, Nakawa.
“It is always a pleasure catching up with my people. Nakawa East is ready for Real Change. Symbol is tree,” Winifred Nakandi shared on her socials.
During the visit, she engaged the dwellers and listened to their problems as a way of finding long last solution.
Hon. Winifred Nakandi contesting under Democratic Front (DF) left the National Unity Platform (NUP) party after she deemed their vetting process unfair when she had expressed her interest to represent Kampala District as the Woman MP under NUP.
