UTB, Uganda Police in partnership to boost tourism in the country

The Inspector General of Police, Abas Byakagaba, together with the Tourism Police leadership, held a strategic meeting with Uganda Tourism Board (UTB) CEO Juliana Kagwa and her team.

 The discussion focused on security as a key tourism asset, real-time info sharing & crisis communication, Training for law enforcement & tourism stakeholders and Tackling fraudulent operators.

This partnership will make Uganda safer for visitors, strengthen community engagement, and enhance Uganda’s global image as a secure and welcoming destination.

Tourism is a key player in driving Uganda’s economy and boosting will make it thrive more.
