Wakiso District Woman MP Hon Betty Ethel Naluyima has advised contractors of the ongoing road projects in Wakiso District to embrace mitigation measures such as sprinkling of water to reduce dusty from affecting people and their businesses.
She also advised them to properly dispose off excavated soil such that road users are not inconvenienced. She said this while leading the Wakiso District Environment Committee on a tour of the ongoing projects in the area.
“While leading the Wakiso District Environment Committee to spot check the ongoing road works under the GKMA project , I have cautioned the contractors to embrace mitigation measures such as routine sprinkling of water to reduce dust and proper disposal of excavated soil such that road users are not inconvenienced,” Hon. Betty Ethel Naluyima said.
Hon. Naluyima is set to seek for a second term as the Wakiso District Woman MP come 2026.
