Kawempe North MP hopeful Hon. Hajjat Hanifah Karadi who yesterday lost the battle for NRM primaries flag bearer against Faridah Nambi has rejected the outcome saying there were a lot of irregularities including bribery and intimidation.
Speaking to this website, Hanifah Karadi said the results did not reflect the reality.
She said the gang of ‘goons’ ( egaali) was paid to vote for Nambi Faridah from one polling station to another.

She said it was quite unfortunate. Said the taxis could drop them, the polling officials were bribed to play delaying tactics while waiting for the gang to arrive protected by security.
Hajjat Hanifah Karadi said she will file complaints to the NRM Electoral Commission to cancel the results and organize free and fair elections.

“Faridah Nambi paid the gangs to vote from one station to another by corrupting electoral officials to play delaying tactics while waiting for the gang to arrive with the help of corrupted security. Such a bribed win can not make NRM win in the general election,” Hanifah Karadi said.
