Kampala Real Estate guru turned politician, Hon. Olyeko Denis Oryema, is giving Padyere County incumbent MP Hon. Isaac Ismail Otimgiu sleepless nights ahead of NRM primaries tomorrow.
The businessman who has been on the ground mobilizing for support since 2023 has been tipped to topple Incumbent Hon. Otimgiu Isaac Ismail in the race for NRM flag bearer ahead of 2026 General Elections.
Latest opinion polls have placed Hon. Olyeko ahead with over 55% win tomorrow against Ismail’s 45% in a two race battle.
The Kampala business man is now seen as the right man for the job because he is an already established rich man who has built himself houses in Padyere and Kampala. The people in Padyere County want new fresh leadership as the current MP has been accused of not delivering to the expectations of the residents.
They said if he has failed to do so in the first term, what shows that he will perform if given another term. They want to dump him and give Olyeko the mandate.
Padyere County people especially Catholics see this as the opportunity to have the first leader in 20 years in Olyeko who is also seen as the new rich young man to drive the constituency forward in terms of development.
