President of musicians under the federation Edirisa Musuuza also known as Eddy Kenzo is blaming fellow singer and now politician Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu also known as Bobi Wine for all artistes problems.
He said that despite the politician having an opportunity to change the industry, he just criticises artistes and calls them beggars as they look for food to eat.
Bobi Wine and Eddy Kenzo used to be friends but politics separated them. One is an opposition supporter and even has his own political party while the other one supports President Museveni and the ruling party.
According to Eddy Kenzo, it is not okay for Bobi Wine to keep ruining the reputation of his fellow musicians costly knowing how hard it is to make it to the top.
“Bobi wine is the cause of all the problems we have as an industry, every time he sees a camera he comes out and portrays us as beggars and ruins our reputation and shows a bad image and we are doing a-lot of damage control that he causes, thats not how he should speak about us – UNMF President Eddy Kenzo spoke angrily about addressing the problems of the industry,” Eddy Kenzo said.
