Minister Lillian Aber hails donors, partners for supporting Refugees sector

The State Minister for Relief, Disaster Preparedness abd Refugees Hon. Lillian Aber has hailed donors and partners for the good work done in Refugees Response sector in the country.

The minister said this yesterday during the commemoration and celebration of Refugee Day held in Terego District, Northern Uganda.

She also praised and lauded the hosting communities for the peaceful co-existence in solidarity with the refugees.

The day’s celebrations were overseen by United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), a world body in charge of Refugees globally.

“I joined the people of Terego today as we commemorate and celebrate the world Refugee day. I thank all our Donors and Partners for the good work well done. In the same spirit I appreciate the hosting communities for the peaceful co-existence in Solidarity with Refugees,” Hon. Lillian Aber shared on her social media platforms after the celebrations.

Ever since she was appointed minister this year, Hon. Lillian Aber has been one of the most performing ministers and very passionate about serving her country.

Hon. Lillian Aber also doubles as the Woman Member of Parliament for Kitgum District, a seat she likely to retain unopposed come 2026.
