Mugenyi Mahadi Asooka says he is the voice of Mawokota North people

2026 is getting closer each day and individuals are making their intentions clear. The latest we have is that Mr. Mugenyi Mahadi Asooka is set to contest for Mawokota North Parliamentary seat come 2026.

Mugenyi aka Edoboozi lye Mawokota001 is a young brother to the late Afande Muhammad Kirumira who was gunned down a few years ago as headed home one evening.

He is currently residing in one of the Gulf countries but he already has the team on the ground mobilizing for support.

“He is really interested in contesting for Member of Parliament in Mawokota North 2026-2031. When the right time for election clocks in, he will hit the ground,” A friend confirmed to us.

Mr. Mugenyi says he wants to work tirelessly hard to bring change in the county and Mpigi District as well.

Among his key factors as far as service delivery is concerned is to work with the communities to improve health standards of Mawokota people, lobbying for funds to invest in a Agriculture, to work on poor transportation systems in Mpigi, introducing policies that can curb down rampant corruption and mismanagement of public resources esp at the headquarters, Improving Educational standards and he wants to be a hard core stone for women and children as far as emphasizing their rights and wellbeing since the women are lagging behind.
