Mbarara City Woman MP race will surely be a hot one come 2026. The current peoples’ favourites Ms Charity Kibaaju Kamuhanda is surely eager and determined to take the seat.
She has established a Corporate League team to keep her up there with the voters by creating awareness about her candidature during the tournament. The team is currently participating in the annual Mbarara Corporate League season which will go up to December.
Enyonyozi Ya Mbarara (Mbarara Shining star) as she has been nicknamed, told this website that she wants to improve service delivery in the city.
She wants to see a city with equality between men, women and the youth.
“I want to lobby for the people of Mbarara City, I want to make sure they have a good share of the national cake,” Charity said.
Being an experienced and well connected businesswoman, she has a lot of friends who can benefit the City in the form of investments.
If elected, she will surely drive Mbarara City development at a very high speed.
