Former Kawempe North parliamentary aspirant and humanitarian Hajjat Hanifah Karadi has remained firmly on the ground in Kawempe North as she lays groundwork for the 2031 MP battle.
Through her charity arm, the Hanifah Karadi Foundation (HKF), the soft-spoken yet workaholic philanthropist says the people of Kawempe North deserve better.
Karadi has in recent months been spotted on several occasions engaging ghetto youths and market traders, encouraging them on mindset change and alternative livelihoods to transform their lives beyond the ghetto.

She has also been at the forefront of community service initiatives, participating in national cleaning exercises with residents and extending relief support to families affected by natural disasters.
Speaking to this website, Hon. Karadi noted that she will continue working hand in hand with the people of Kawempe to turn the constituency into a modern urban centre.
Karadi has of late earned praise for reviving the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) support in Kawempe Division, which has for years been considered an opposition stronghold.
Due to her vast experience in political mobilization, many pundits predict she could soon be rewarded with a big presidential appointment. Watch this space!
