Kira Municipality MP Hon. George Musisi has raised concern over the stalled Kyaliwajjala-Kira-Kasangati-Matugga road, calling for swift action on the road works.
Speaking on the floor of Parliament, Hon. Musisi said that in this rainy season, the need for prompt action, especially on the drainage channels, cannot be overemphasized. He urged the Ministry of Works to take action and ensure the road works are quickly and properly carried out.
“Last week when I raised the status of this road on the floor of Parliament, the State Minister for Works, who happens to be a resident in the neighborhood, promised swifter action. In this rainy season, the need for prompt action especially on the drainage channels cannot be more emphasized,” Hon. George Musisi said.
