Uganda registers 9 new cases of COVID-19

The Ministry of Health has announced 9 new cases of COVID-19, a disease caused by Coronavirus.
Results from COVID-19 tests done on 01 July 2020, 9 new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed.
The cumulative total confirmed cases of Ugandans are now 902.
The 9 cases are; 2 truck drivers who arrived from Kenya via Malaba, 7 contacts: 2 from Amuru and 5 from Tororo.
In related development, 27 foreign truck drivers tested positive for COVID-19 and were not allowed into the country.
Active cases on admission: 188 (163 are Ugandans, 19 foreigners and 6 refugees)
Total Recoveries: 847 (Includes both Ugandans and Foreigners)
Total samples tested yesterday are 1,958.
