Uganda confirms 9 new cases of COVID-19

The Ministry of Health has announced 9 new cases of COVID-19, the disease caused by Coronavirus.

Results from samples tested on 17 June confirm 9 new COVID-19 cases.
The total number of COVID-19 cases in Uganda is now 741 with a total of 442 recoveries.

The 9 cases are; 4 truck drivers who entered via Malaba (2) from Kenya and 1 via Elegu and 1 via Ngomoromo and we from South Sudan, 5 were contacts of the confirmed cases from Kyotera (3) and Amuru (2) Districts.
