Uganda Breweries Limited, one of the oldest Companies in Uganda, and the 18th company to be registered in Uganda, last evening celebrated 70 years of existence with a staff Dinner at Sheraton Kampala Hotel.

The 70s theme dinner was meant to celebrate the brewery’s past milestones and pave way for the future. Also present at the event were Uganda Breweries staff and alumni the likes of Dr Martin Aliker.

“Today we are celebrating all that have made the brewery what it is today. We are proud that Uganda Breweries has become one of the greatest truly Ugandan iconic brands dedicated to celebrating and transforming lives in Uganda, East Africa and internationally,” said outgoing MD Nyimpini Mabunda.

One of the key milestones the brewery celebrated with staff is that it was recently named as 2nd best employer of choice by the Federation of Uganda Employers.
